feature outside an attraction at Melbourne Zoo...
According to the Melbourne Zoo website,
the Southern Corroboree Frog is at risk of extinction in the wild because of Chytridiomycosis
– a disease caused by infection with Amphibian Chytrid Fungus.
There are probably less than 100 individuals left in the wild.
