Gyutu Monks

Each year, in the summer, some Gyutu Monks from Tibet visit Dromana.
While they are here, they offer special motivational programmes for the New Year
and activities for adults and children.
But they also love to wander barefoot on the beach.
Gyuto House Australia has been in existence since 1994,
bringing the Gyuto Monks of Tibet to Australia on annual tours and retreats.
The photo above is one of the signs outside the Dromana Primary School last January.

The Gyutu Monks from Tibet do backup vocals on a track on the album SPACE FARM by The Break (Australian Surf band, with 3 former Midnight Oil musicians).
