in the cockatoo days...


This is a photo taken 5 years ago when cockatoos would visit our verandah.
We finally had to stop feeding them sunflower seed because they liked re-sculpting the wood on the verandah.

    That is a really cool bird. How fun to have them coming to your feeder...except for the eating your furniture part. that's no fun.

    They are beautiful birds Gemma, but oh so destructive. It is easy to make the mistake of starting to feed them but they do tend to intrude once they know there is a free feed going.
